Kakatoo F&B Group, ALAA Consultancy and DOSZ Coffee collaborate to strengthen entrepreneurship in food and beverage sector
KUALA LUMPUR — LJP Kitchen Sdn Bhd, through its brand Kakatoo F&B Group, together with ALAA Consultancy (M) Sdn Bhd and DOSZ Coffee, has formalised a strategic tri-party collaboration to strengthen entrepreneurship in the food and beverage sector.
The partnership was sealed after all three organisations signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at Kakatoo Restoran, Quill City Mall, here, yesterday.
The MoU signing ceremony was witnessed by ALAA’s chairman, Tan Sri Dr Madinah Mohamad, and formalised by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Kakatoo F&B Group, Joyce Chong; CEO ALAA Consultancy’s representative, Husna Nashim; and Director of W Capital Privy Equity Sdn Bhd, Adib Halim Azmi, on behalf of DOSZ Coffee.
As an initial initiative, the three parties will collaborate through the Natalah Egg Tart Business Programme, under which a total financing of RM15 million will be provided by financing institutions to selected 1,000 entrepreneurs participating in the programme.

Under the partnership, Kakatoo will provide the full operational package, including equipment, supply chain support, licensing, and training, ALAA will lead financial strategy, entrepreneur selection, programme governance, and commercial structuring while DOSZ Coffee will serve as the retail platform for nationwide rollout.
The collaboration aims to strengthen Malaysia’s F&B entrepreneurship ecosystem through a structured, scalable, and professionally supported business model.
In her speech, Joyce explained that the Natalah Programme began with a simple insight — egg tarts are a universally loved, easy impulse-buy product. She said Kakatoo transformed this idea into a low-capital, fast-turnover micro-business suitable for canteen operators and local cafés as an add-on revenue stream.
